Slinning is a part of the firm’s Energy, Shipping & Offshore Group. He mainly assists clients with maritime law issues, including issues related to newbuilding and conversion projects for ships and offshore installations, sale & purchase of ships and offshore installations, chartering contracts, and project finance of ships, rigs and similar assets.
Slinning has throughout his career also handled a number of litigation cases within his area of expertise. In recent years a substantial part of his work has been in connection with restructuring cases, including arrest and forced sale proceedings.
He has longstanding international experience, especially from Japan where he lived and worked as a lawyer for more than three years, but also from handling projects in East-Asia, North Africa and Brazil.
Slinning was a partner at law firm Wikborg Rein until February 2017.
