Joakim M. Hovet

Joakim M. Hovet is specialised in mergers and acquisitions, corporate and tax law, and is head of our office in Tønsberg.

He has broad experience in restructuring and M&A related work, such as mergers, de-mergers and acquisitions, and issues related to general corporate and tax law. He also works extensively with equity transactions, including dividends, share issues and reductions in connection with changes of ownership and generational changes. 

His list of clients includes financial advisors, private equity funds, credit institutions and commercial companies. 

Joakim has authored a number of articles on tax and corporate law, and is affiliated with the Faculty of Law (University of Oslo) as an external examiner for master theses in corporate law. He also lectures regularly in corporate tax issued for commercial companies.
