Heidi Magnussen is an associate and part of the firm’s EU/EEA and Competition law group. Heidi is also part of the Investigation and Compliance team and the firm’s English law team.
Within competition law Heidi advises Norwegian and international clients on matters such as cooperation agreements, including distribution and agency agreements and other concerted practices which may affect competition between undertakings. Heidi also advises on issues related to mergers and acquisitions and the notification procedure at the Norwegian Competition Authority.
Heidi has an International Master of Laws (LL.M) from London, and therefore has broad expertise in both English and international law, particularly related to commercial agreements and contractual disputes within the offshore and shipping sectors. Heidi regularly assists both Norwegian and international companies in the drafting and revision of various types of commercial agreements.
Heidi also advises undertakings in relation to anti-corruption, compliance and company reporting requirements which may involve the risk of financial and/or reputational loss and damage to company goodwill. Heidi has special expertise in non-financial reporting (Corporate Social Responsibility), and assists companies with compliance in relation to relevant rules and policies and other preventive measures, as well as commercial advice in connection with ordinary operations; typically transaction support.
