Sofie Foshaug

Sofie Foshaug is a Senior Associate at SANDS’ offices in Oslo where she is part of the firm’s group for construction and dispute resolution. Sofie primarily works with contract and construction law, and assists our clients in the negotiation and execution phases of construction projects, as well as assisting with dispute resolution both during and after the execution phase. She regularly assists with contracts in tender competitions and in the execution of major construction projects in Norway. She regularly advises on the Norwegian Standard (NS) contracts, 8401/02/03/05/07 and subcontracts 8415/17.

Sofie took her master's degree at the University of Tromsø in 2021, where she wrote her master's thesis with the theme «The requirement for complaint and counter-complaint in light of HR-2020-2254-A». During her studies, she was on an exchange at the University of Copenhagen where she specialised in construction law and international commercial contract law.
