- Oddbjørn Slinning has been in Wikborg Rein since qualifying and became a partner in their Shipping and Offshore group in 2011. He was head of Wikborg Rein’s office in Kobe, Japan from 2005 to 2008 and has also worked for several years at their office in London.
- Marit Kirkhusmo worked for many years in the shipping industry, as General Counsel in the international Camillo Eitzen Group and in the legal department of the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association. She was a partner in Ræder and previously worked in Wikborg Rein (in Oslo and London) and Thommessen.
- Robert Jensen is a specialist in restructuring and insolvency and joined us from Selmer. He has been engaged in many of the largest and most complex insolvency cases in Norway. He is also an experienced litigator and has served as a deputy judge. He was previously a senior executive officer in the Ministry of Finance.

The shipping and offshore sector is huge in Norway and is a complex, international and demanding sector for participating companies, lawyers and regulators. Therefore, as Lars Berge Andersen comments in the article, there are relatively few law firms in Norway that provide clients with specialist services and teams dedicated to these industries.
