Eirik Vikan Rise

Eirik Vikan Rise is Head of SANDS' public procurement group. He practices primarily in the field of public procurement law and advises both suppliers and contracting entities. Eirik has litigated several procurement cases before the courts including proceedings for interim measures and claims for compensation.

Eirik studied law at the University of Bergen, and worked at the Norwegian Competition Authority as a leading legal advisor for the Public Procurement Complaints Board (KOFA). He specialized in procurement law at both Copenhagen University and in Bergen, and holds an Executive LLM in Public Procurement Law and Policy from the University of Nottingham.

He regularly gives lectures on procurement law and speaks at conferences.
