Daniel Skjevik-Aasberg

Daniel Skjevik-Aasberg is an associate at the Oslo office, and a member of the firm’s group for dispute resolution, employment law, in addition to technology and M&A. He primarily works with employment related and regulatory affairs as well as company law. His master's thesis considered the scope and limitations of taxing foreign companies’ digital economy in Norway.
Daniel previously worked as an advisor at the consulting agency Zynk, where he assisted clients with public affairs, governmental relations, strategic positioning and analysis. He has broad experience from various businesses, but especially from the technology, industry and energy sector as well as the major Norwegian trade organizations.
Daniel worked at the Norwegian Parliament as a political advisor with the responsibility for employment, pension and welfare policy in the Conservative Party's parliamentary group. He has also been a communications advisor to the Conservative Party's MPs in the Judicial Affairs Committee and the Education and Research Committee.
He has extensive political experience from both the local and national level. He was acting President and Vice President of the Norwegian Young Conservatives, served on the Conservative Party's National Committee and was a municipality councillor in Narvik. Daniel also held the overall responsibility for policy development in the Young Conservatives and worked closely with new national climate and environmental policies.
