SANDS establishes office in London
SANDS is continuing its growth with the establishment of a new office in London. With an ever-expanding international client base, this is a natural step to strengthen the firm's presence in one of the world's most important financial and legal centers.

- Opening an office in London reflects SANDS' strategic ambition to grow in key profitable areas and, for the first time, expand with a new establishment outside Norway. The goal is for the London office to attract top lawyers in the shipping and offshore market. Over time, it is likely that the range of services at the office will expand, says Managing Partner Thomas Sando.
Max Lemanski will lead the new office in London. With over 20 years of experience, Lemanski is a leading lawyer in shipping, shipbuilding, offshore energy, and superyacht cases. He has worked on offshore energy projects worldwide and is one of the market's leading lawyers in both FPSO and FLNG.
- I look forward to leading SANDS' efforts in London and building on the firm's strong practice in shipping and offshore. I know SANDS well from previous collaborations and know what the firm stands for. I also have numerous clients in Norway and have visited the country more than 100 times in my career. I am therefore looking forward to working closely with my new colleagues in Norway to build on existing client relationships and to find synergies and new opportunities in the market, says Lemanski.
In addition to Lemanski, SANDS has hired two experienced senior lawyers in shipping and offshore in London, Hayley Broome and David Wilson. Both are experts in the same fields as Lemanski. The London office will be managed by newly hired Office Manager, Jade Ross.
Guy Leonard, an English law partner at the SANDS Oslo office, will also be working regularly from our London office. Leonard brings extensive experience in shipping and offshore projects, particularly in areas such as floating LNG, offshore construction, and EPCIC/shipbuilding. His expertise is expected to strongly complement our new London offering.
