Ian W Kenworthy

Ian W. Kenworthy is a Senior Lawyer, admitted to the supreme court. He has been the team leader of the firm`s dispute resolution and litigation group. Legal 500(2013): «Excels at banking litigation and regulatory matters», and «recommended for arbitration». Recommended in best lawyers international.

Ian has pleaded a number of cases before the various city Courts, Courts of appeal and the supreme court as well as before arbitration tribunals and has been appointed as arbitrator on several occasions.

In addition to this expertise within dispute resolution and litigation, he has a long experience within the Field of banking and has been a leader of the General Counsel of the legal Department in Den norske Bank. He has also been Executive Vice President, Oslo Stock Exchange, Head of the legal department at Sparebanken Oslo Akershus, later Sparebanken ABC, and an attorney in Elkem.

Further, Ian has been a member of the executive Board in the Norwegian Bar Association, and has been an opponent for two doctoral degrees at the faculty of Law in Oslo. He is at the moment chairman of the Control Committee of Oslo forsikring and Oslo pensjonsforsikring.
