Caterina Håland Gaeta

Caterina Håland Gaeta is specialized in dispute resolution for all kind of corporates. She has extensive experience with large and complex disputes, both in civil cases and in business criminal cases. She also advises insurance company within dispute resolution, general advising and second opinions.  

She is admitted to the Supreme Court and frequently conducts cases in courts, mainly commercial disputes and cases concerning directors’ liability and corporate liability. She has broad international experience and is fluent in six languages, and is therefore a preferred advisor in court cases involving many jurisdictions. 

Caterina has also extensive experience in white-collar criminal law, especially in the field of market abuse: insider trading and market manipulation, in addition to corruption and environmental crime. She has acted as defence attorney in several of the most important business crime cases in Norway the last few years and has been ranked as one of the best lawyers in Norway within this category.

As a consequence of her extensive experience within large and complex disputes and business criminal cases, her expertise also covers advice regarding crisis management and strategic issues arising in such matters, as well as preparation for and assistance in interviews and interrogations.
