Stein Hegdal


Hegdal works with banks on transactions and follow-up of engagements, guarantees, security and restructuring.

In addition Stein Hegdal has a long experience within contracts and construction law, including manufacturing and building contracts, real estate and employment.

He is admitted to the Norwegian Supreme court.

Hegdal was a naval officer until he became a lawyer in BAHR in 1993, later partner in Sander, Truyen & Co, who merged with Lindh Stabell Horten and became DLA Piper Norway.

Hegdal has a wide network in German – speaking countries and he assists many German enterprises in Norway within various lines of business. He is heading our German Desk.

Hegdal has contributed to several German publications on Norwegian law, among other Beck‘s Münchener Kommentar zum Insolvenzrecht and C.F. Müller Verlag‘s Handbuch Immobilienrecht in Europa.

He is a censor at the law faculty in Oslo.
