Kjersti Holum Karlstrøm
Kjersti Holum Karlstrøm specializes in public procurement, and acts for both public sector and supplier-side clients. Assistance in such cases can range from the planning stage of the procurement to assistance in connection with complaints and negotiations, including the process of complaints boards and courts. She is one of the ten members of the national Norwegian Complaints Board for Public Procurement (KOFA), appointed by the King-in-Council, together with leading lawyers, judges and professors in public procurement.
Karlstrøm also works with large commercial contracts within various industries and has specialist expertise in the building and construction industry. She acts for contractors as well as private and public sector contractees, providing advisory and dispute resolution services related to Norwegian standard contracts.
Karlstrøm has worked as an attorney, judge and at the Faculty of Law at University of Tromsø for many years, and regularly litigates before Norwegian courts. Thus, she has the qualifications and experience needed to provide strategic advice to clients in such processes.
As a lecturer, she is very much in demand within her areas of expertise.
