Tor Erik Heggøy

Tor Erik Heggøy has a background in operational police service, the prosecution authority, the courts and several law firms in Oslo and Tønsberg. His expertise is within bankruptcy, debt negotiations and reconstruction. Tor Erik inter alia assists businesses with financial problems, banks with distressed engagements and creditors with claims against businesses that are struggling financially. He also assists creditors in bankruptcy estates with securing creditor interests in the estates. He has been the administrator of a large number of bankruptcies.

Tor Erik is also a specialist in investigations. He has led several major investigative processes, including being project manager for the 22 July Commission’s investigation of the police’s response to the terrorist attacks. In addition to carrying out investigations, he also assists businesses that are under investigation by others, including various supervisory and police authorities.

Tor Erik also works within employment law, particularly whistleblowing, dismissals and resignations, as well as general dispute resolution and procedure. He has litigated a significant number of cases before the courts.
